Ferentz Fuels The HuskerHawkeye Talk


Bring On The Huskers
                                                          Okay the headline might over state the truth just a tad bit.  However, Ferentz's words on the Big 10 teleconference affirm why this blog was created and why a full website is being built as you read this.
Iowa fans have been waiting for this showdown for years and now they will get it every year.  

I don't like the name "Farmagedden" when it comes putting a label on the series.  To be honest its sounds kind of "hickish" and it's not original.  Kansas State and Iowa State have been using it for a couple of years and I like to think the marketing geniuses at both institutions can come up with something better.  Or leave it up to the fans, you have any thoughts?     I think it was someone on the show this morning mentioned something like Corn Belt Bowl, as much as I don't like the ag references that just continues to drive the stereo-typical view of the Midwest, Corn Belt Bowl sounds pretty cool.
