Does Iowa Replace Texas As The Huskers Most Hated?

That's a tall order,  Nebraska's hatred of the Horns runs deeper than just football.   Husker fans always had penis envy when it came to Texas in the Big 12.   The Horns were always bigger and seemingly better in everything.

Those days are over now that Nebraska is joining the Big 10.   I have said before that the new Nebraska-Iowa rivalry would be intense, it's the reason I started this blog.  Tom Shatel of the Omaha World Herald is suggesting the same thing in Tuesday's column. 

Either it was a really slow day at the College World Series or Tom sees the real potential in the Big 10 Clash.  It's and even fight, something Nebraska never could get when it went up against Texas.  But I wonder if it's a fight the Huskers are ready for?
