Bubba Starling |
If I were a betting man I would put my money on the money but as Lloyd Christmas says... "There's still a chance!" slim as it may be. But there could also be a problem thanks to the stupid rules of the NCAA.
Starling is getting "advice" from Scott Boras who just happens to be the most high profile agent in baseball. If you want to know what kind of advice Boars is giving the Starling family, check out this read on ESPN.com I would hardly call this "advice" and there's a good explanation on the Sports Agents Blog on why the NCAA might not like the way Boras gives good family advice.
Nebraska has run into this "advice" situation before with the NCAA, just last season in fact with freshman pitcher Logan Ehlers.
We all know the NCAA as the "Student Athlete" in mind of course with all its rules and regulations.
