Nebraska Football: Osborne Speaks

Eric Olson of the Associated Press has had a relationship with Tom Osborne that dates back to his days at the Omaha World Herald.

Osborne Right At Home
Eric is one of the best reporters I know and not one that takes the "company" line with many coaches and players, if he has a question to ask he does it in a direct way. (Shouldn't all reporters do that?)

Here is Eric's Q&A with Nebraska Athletic Director Tom Osborne.  Read Story Here

It's pretty much the standard stuff from Osborne.  He doesn't have a contract and he'll keep the job for as long as they want him.

Tom has tried to ride off into the sunset before, but this cowboy just can't leave the range.  To be honest, I am okay with this.  Tom understands Nebraska athletics and the people of Nebraska understand Tom.  There's a sense of peace when he's around.   Trust me, Husker fans want calm, cool and collected as they get ready to enter Big 10 territory.

Can you imagine of Steve Pedersen was trying to lead this transition?  His ego would not have fit in the room!

  1. Anderson need's to go, but regardless of the fact that Nebraska may have the best faculties in the Big 10, who's going to take that job? The Big 10 isn't exactly a baseball conference.
