Hawks Take Cheap Shot From Local Media? Updated With Commentary and Video Link

KGAN  Sports Director Jared Aarons put himself at the center of the story Monday night on the CBS-2 News at 10.

In an attempt to inform, entertain, demonstrate and of course get ratings, Aarons decided to (or was encourage to by management) go through the now infamous workout that put 13 Iowa football players in the hospital.

Either Aarons is superhuman who lives with no fear or he really didn't push himself to the brink of total body breakdown and obviously lived to tell the story.

The story was pretty one sided, nobody from the UI was interviewed and there was no mentioned that they even tried to interview somebody.  If you have to pull out the Kirk Ferentz press conference addressing the issue, do so.

Interesting news I did not know,  the President of the NSCCA was interviewed for the Sally Mason report but his testimony was not used, I want to know why.

Aarons style is not sensationalism, he told a good story and did not over edit or over tell what he was actually going through.
