Omaha World Herald Begs Bubba

The Omaha World Herald is practically on its hands and knees begging Bubba Starling to become a Husker.  Don't believe me, read the article in the Sunday paper.

The only way to explain it is that the World Herald has invested so much time and money covering this kid the want to see some return on investment.  Hey he sells papers right?

If Bubba's odds are 50-50 to make it big in the Majors,  I think those are pretty good.   What Dirk Chatelain's  research doesn't provide are Bubba's odds of becoming an All-American quarterback, hell even all conference.  Based on the number of 4 and 5 star recruits I've seen come through the college ranks I would say it's no better than 50-50.

There is one thing that is 100% and that is Bubba can be a millionaire tomorrow if he wants to be.  What are the odds of that for any student-athlete after four years of college?  A lot less than 50-50!
