A great read in today's
Lincoln Journal Star about how Nebraska and the Big 10 came together. A move I think is great for both parties and the wedding officially takes place on July 1st.
However what I find amusing about all this is, three years ago Nebraska fan would argue until its blue in face about how bad the Big 10 football is and how superior Big 12 football is. I should know I fought with them almost every day when I had a sports radio show in Omaha.
Now I argue with Iowa about the instant creditability Nebraska has in this league and how the Huskers will be an instant success. I must pick fights where ever I go.
I for one am happy about the move as it has created this blog and the website, www.huskerhawkeye.com should launch on July 1st. Yes the same day Nebraska officially becomes a Big 10 member.
