Husker Fans Aren't Stupid

You would think there would be a BUZZ for Nebraska basketball.   After all, the Huskers are 13-2 on the season, their best start in 20 years and the Big Red has won 11 straight games.  But when it comes to fans and Big Red hoops…. Chirp, chirp, chirp.

Nebraska never has and never will be a basketball school but they have knowledgeable fans and know a good product when they see it and they can spot an illusion a mile away.   Taking off the red blinders here is what they see.

·         The Huskers have not played a true road game

·         The Huskers strength of schedule is 283 (worst in the Big 12)

·         The Huskers RPI is 107 (The worst of any BCS Conference Team with 13 Wins or more)

·         The Huskers play at 15^th ranked Missouri  Tonight and 3^rd ranked Kansas on Saturday

·         The Huskers have big men who are soft

Fans know Nebraska can compete at a certain level, but like their football team they want them to compete at the highest level, we’ll find out more tonight.
