Follow The Money Trail

Title 9 has many flaws, I've said it for years and I will keep saying it.  Until football is taken out of the mix college sports will never be equal.

All you have to do is follow the money trail.  Many of you may have seen this, many of you have not but it's a good reference on who pays the bills for big time athletics and who's paying for equity.  FOOTBALL.

The Indianapolis Star has this comprehensive data base of athletic department budgets and where the money goes. 

I will have more on the inequity of Title 9 in future blogs as well as the hypocrisy of the academic side of universities and they way "academics" view athletics.

Again, follow the money trail, look at what both Iowa and Nebraska spends and where both make their money.  Also look at what loses money and how much!
