Huskers Ready To Crash The Party

Adam Rittenberg writes his hopes and concerns for the Nebraska football team as it comes in to the 2011 season.  You can read that here.

Rittenberg is right on with the Husker Defense.   Defensive not only wins games it wins championships an Nebraska's defense will be a big reason the Huskers in my mind are the preseason favorites to win the Legends Division.

Last years Michigan team is a perfect example of great offense (Best in the Big 10)  and horrible defense (the worst in the Big 10)  Rich Rod was an offensive coach and his style of score, score. score worked in the Big East, not the Big 10 and that's why he crashed and burned.   Nebraska's Strength is it's defense combine that with the unknown of a new offense, watch for the Huskers to crash the party in big way.

  1. Offense scares me, though. Don't know what to expect out of Martinez, unproven WR's and someone will need to step up at RB and compliment Burkhead. Talent is there at RB behind Burkhead, but just lack experience.

One thing for sure, if I see Burkhead in the wildcat, I just may throw my TV out the window.

    GBR!
